Lacrosse Camp


High School Women’s Overnight Lacrosse Camp

July 27-29
9th-12th grade

This overnight camp for high school girls is designed to develop fundamental and advanced lacrosse skills, teamwork, knowledge of the game, and passion for the sport. The Chatham coaching staff will use instructional training stations, personalized skill drills, and game situations that challenge the campers to take their game to the next level. The camp will concentrate on stick skills, defensive/offensive concepts, footwork/agility, and communication.

Camp check-in will occur on Friday, July 27th between 9:30am and 10am at TBA HALL. Camp will begin at 10:15am after a welcome and staff introduction meeting. Camp will end on Sunday, July 29th at 1pm. Parents are welcome to come to all final sessions of the day on Varsity Field. Campers will be responsible for check-out and returning keys at the close of camp.

The campers will use the Chatham University facilities and turf fields. Water and ice will be available on the field at all times but players are asked to bring their own water bottle. In case of inclement weather, we will have access to the gymnasium for shelter and limited activity.

All overnight campers and camp staff will be housed in Chatham University resident halls. Roommates will be assigned based on roommate requests or randomly if not specified. Camp staff will provide 24-hour supervision of the halls and counselors will have their rooms clearly marked on each floor. Meals are provided by campus dining.

All Campers are expected to show utmost respect for staff, other campers and facilities. Chatham University strictly prohibits the use and/or possession of drugs, alcohol and tobacco products. Any camper found in violation of these rules will be immediately dismissed from camp without refund of fees paid.
