Are there any discounts or scholarships available?
Yes, partial scholarships are available for campers who demonstrate financial need. To apply, families must complete the Scholarship Form and submit required supplemental materials.
What medical care is available on-site?
CMADC is staffed by a registered nurse who remains on-site during the camp day.
What is the counselor-to-camper ratio for Division 1 and Division 2?
We follow the American Camp Association (ACA) guidelines to ensure proper supervision.
Division 1 (rising 1st–2nd graders): approximately 1 counselor per 8 campers
Division 2 (rising 3rd–4th graders): approximately 1 counselor per 9 campers
How is my camper’s schedule created?
Division 1 and Division 2 campers follow a fixed schedule with their counselor, rotating through music, art, traditional camp activities, and preparing for our end-of-camp performance.
Division 3 campers select their own classes from a variety of disciplines including music, theater, visual art, and recreation. Class selection will be completed online prior to the start of camp. Campers are encouraged to coordinate schedules with a buddy, if desired.
What should my camper wear?
Comfortable clothes that you can wear both indoors and outdoors.
Enclosed shoes with a strap around the ankle (preferably sneakers); no flip flops or open toe sandals.
Swimsuit for all Division 1 and 2 campers and for those Division 3 campers who have selected swimming.
What should my camper bring each day?
Bookbag
Sunscreen
Refillable water bottle
A swimsuit (Division 1 campers should arrive in swimwear)
Towel (for swimming)
Extra change of clothes
Rain coat/jacket
All items should be labeled with the camper’s name.
What is the weather policy?
Camp will run rain or shine. Many activities can be moved indoors during inclement weather, but please send your camper prepared for all conditions.
