Cougar Basketball Camp

July 29 – August 2
rising 2nd – 9th GradeRs

 

Cougar Basketball Camp is a great way for players to improve their skills. It is designed to teach individual and team basketball concepts to both beginning and intermediate players. Campers participate in skill development and competitions, as well as learn offensive and defensive concepts while hearing from guest speakers. The Chatham basketball team staff and players instruct campers on techniques such as passing, ball handling, footwork, shooting, and defense.

Camper outcomes:

  • Understand the basic elements of basketball

  • Develop team oriented skills to achieve a group goal

  • Develop an appreciation of sports and the role sports can play in all lives

  • Develop a desire to practice the skills introduced at camp, outside camp hours

  5. Defense – Zone Concepts

  8. Track – Run/Stretch/bathroom

10:40 – 11:00am
